The key findings are:

  • The survey shows a growth of 10% in the average salaries of Indian Technical Communicators as compared to the average salaries in 2007.

committee is reviewing the paper submissions.

The tentative agenda will be published by the end of October.

STC India 2008 Annual Conference: Call for Papers

Hi All!

STC India invites proposals for this year's annual conference. Out of the
pool of submissions, proposals that stand out for their quality will be
chosen to be presented at the conference on December 12 and 13, 2008.

All proposal submissions must:
* Be original
* Have clear, conflict-free titles
* Focus on topics that are directly relevant to technical communication and
could, for example, discuss the practical application of technical
communication theory.

Note that submissions related to original research, both quantitative and
qualitative, are highly encouraged.

STC India Career Day 2008 in New Delhi

The Society for Technical Communication (STC) India chapter will organize a "Career Day" in New Delhi on 30th August 2008 for technical writing professionals. The career day provides a common platform for employers and interested candidates to get together.
