If you are a freelance or telecommuting technical writer, this initiative is for you.

On behalf of TWIN, we'd like to organize a meeting and discussion for all freelance technical writers based in Bangalore.

For freelancers in other cities, I will send out a separate message for you folks to explain TWIN's new initiative and how you can get involved in this.

For the ones in Bangalore, we would like to schedule this meeting on September 4 in the evening (5 to 7 PM) at the following address:

Here is the agenda:
a) Intro to the Freelancers' Meet and the Proposed Network - Gururaj -
20 Minutes
b) Freelancing tips - Mak Pandit - 1 Hour and 15 Minutes
c) Break - 10 Minutes
d) Open House/Q and A - 15 Minutes

The meeting is just a beginning, and the primary initiative might be of interest to you.

TWIN is going to partner with some universities in India on a unique project for the benefit of research scholars, doctorate aspirants, and innovators. Of course, this is not for free. If you get involved in the project, the universities will pay you, but it might not be as attractive and commercial as your business clients. However, the real
purpose of this initiative is to create a network and community of freelance writers.
