Neither of the two would be able to help you hone your language. The way you've written the question tells me that you need to concentrate on your language. Keep reading good books on vocabulary and Language. MA in English Lit. would only provide you good insight into the world of literature. Read as much as you can. Concentrate a lot on the way writing ( creative and otherwise) is done. It will definitely help you and get rid of wanna's and gonna's :)))) ( on a lighter note)
