Twinference anyone?

Printer-friendly versionThe STC has its formal conference annually but nothing of that sort happens in TWIN. That's understandable. TWIN is an informal group. But why should that stop us from organizing meet-ups? I know folks in Mumbai meet up. I am sure people in other cities and towns do too. But here's the big momma: can we organize a national TWIN meet? It is just a thought. Let me know what you guys think. Also, if twinners are meeting up in their respective towns, I request them to blog about their meets here on the portal. Maybe we should start a flickr group called TWIN? So we can post pictures... put faces to those e-mails, you know? Your thoughts?

If people are interested in attending such events, let me know. I can organize this informal conference. Could you please set up a poll to collect people's ideas and thoughts first? If we see a good response to the poll, you, Sandeep, and I can discuss the specifics later and put together a plan.

Annual conference needed and perhaps a souvenir too
I strongly support this idea. I would go ahead and say that we should meet up in a different city in India every year, and may be we should release an annual souvenir (print edition) during that event.
