I attended an interview and got selected four months back. The interviewer was a technical writer on 'loan' from another company since this company did not have any documentation team. He asked me about my experience in TW, what projects I had worked on earlier, what was my approach to documentation, how would I start documenting a project etc. I was also asked what I liked about technical writing field. I was also asked detailed questions about MS Word ( about headers and footers)and about style guides.
