This poll raises a question in my mind: "Is it not like asking a test engineer or software engineer that do they have a certification from an institute, which is related to their trade?"

From my 5 years of experience in the Bangalore IT industry, I have only seen a few people with a relevant certification on the work they do. Almost all of the engineers, UI designers, and others whom I have interacted with started as a trainee and learned on the job without going for any trade certification. This is true for writers too. Many of the senor writers have never been to any training institutes.

I think the hype for a technical writing training is benefiting the institutes more than the freshers. I do not think freshers get an advantage if they have a certificate in technical writing.

How to face an Interview

How to face an Interview?

There is a saying "Practise makes a man Perfect." I don't know who has said this ,but believe me it is true.So how can we be sure that the interview we are facing is not scary?
Whenever I used to get through an interview,I used to feel confident, but when i couldn't clear an interview I use to feel that I should try harder next time.
So now that I am again trying to find a job ,I am using these tips which is helping me.
1. Always choose your attire a day before the interview.
2. Reach in time .This will give you time to relax your mind.
3. Greet the interviewer by his or her last name.
4. Seek permission before entering the room.
5 .Let the interviewer lead the conversation
6. Stress on your achievements.
7. Always be confident and answer to the point.
8. Always tell the truth to the interviewer.
9. Never question th einterviewer's credibility
10.Never be overconfident or lack confidence.
11.Bring an extra copy of your resume.
12.Do your homework properly and then attend the interview
I have tried these things and it has helped me ,but the main thing is always be positive towards life ,if a company rejects you ,then there is something better store in for you ,so don't loose hope.
