RoboSource Control is a source document and version control system that you get with the RoboHelp installation. It can be used by a team or an individual.

The team can share source files, tracking content changes and ensure that as a team they have the latest and updated documents to work with. If changes conflict this is also tracked and resolved. It is like a a central repository where users can also recover previous versions of their documents.

Version control simply means applications that enable users to control versions of documents. Popular version control systems include Perforce and VisualSource Safe from Microsoft.
