Re: e-mail Vs email

Hi,

Technically, e-mail is correct and it is email.

Confusing? Let me clarify my previous sentence. E-mail stands for electronic mail therefore it is necessary to hyphenate. But language evolves in time and the usage of email instead of e-mail is quite common (and preferred) these days.

Also, if you check gmail and hotmail's homepage and you will see "email" being used instead of e-mail.

Regards,

Nithya
