What things need to be considered while developing the content for a SALES BROCHURE? I work in an IT firm, which wants me to develop this kind of documents for its IT solutions. It would be of great help if someone could guide me with examples.
Before developing a sales brochure, you need to understand about the product market standing thoroughly. First, you need to find about your competitors & their products. How they are presenting their products? You have to do in-depth R&D using Net. List out all the features of your product and try to understand how the end-customer uses those features. Also study how these features increase the comfort of the customer and how they help him to generate more revenue. After gathering all the info, before attempting a sales brochure, you categorize the gathered points under different heading like Market need, challenges, benefits, USPs, differentiators, etc, and then create scenarios around them. Finally, try to explain all these points in your sales brochure using the gathered real-time scenarios and position your product in the market. After writing all this stuff, you need to end your brochure with a 'call of action'.
The litmus test for your brochure is that whoever (including a layman) reads it, should feel that your product is capable of addressing all his respective domain needs.
