Job profile:

As a Managing Editor, you will typically spend the day
•ensuring that manuscripts edited by different editors are of the highest quality and suitable for publication
•developing a knowledge base in computer science and mathematics and to help researchers in these fields publish their work
•providing end-to-end support to authors during the manuscript publication cycle
You are a prospective Managing Editor if
•you have impeccable English language skills
•you’re passionate about research in computer science and mathematics
•you have a strong understanding of the prevailing concepts, terminology, and conventions used in these fields and its various subfields
•you’re familiar with various tools used in editing and for publishing, such as MS Word and LaTeX, and quick to learn how to use new types of software
•you’re communicative and enjoy giving and receiving feedback
•you’re comfortable at multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
